We’re pleased to announce that Sua Bae's latest paper, "Transcranial blood-brain barrier opening in Alzheimer's disease patients using a portable focused ultrasound system with real-time 2-D cavitation mapping," has been accepted for publication in Theranostics.
This study highlights a novel approach in Alzheimer's research, showcasing the potential of a portable focused ultrasound system for safely opening the blood-brain barrier.

Congratulations to Seongyeon Kim and UEIL neuromodulation team for their outstanding work, "Displacement and functional ultrasound (fUS) imaging of displacement-guided focused ultrasound (FUS) neuromodulation in mice,", which has been accepted to be published in NeuroImage. This work leveraged displacement and functional imaging simultaneously with FUS and first provided the mapping of displacement and hemodynamic activation in response to FUS neuromodulation.
