At the International Symposium on Therapeutic Ultrasound (ISTU 2025) in Banff, Canada (June 21–24), they will showcase two impactful studies:

We’re excited to share that Melina Tourni successfully defended her PhD dissertation on April 9, 2025. Her work, conducted under the guidance of Professor Elisa E. Konofagou, focused on advancing clinical Electromechanical Wave Imaging for arrhythmia characterization and treatment monitoring.
Melina delivered a strong and compelling presentation, showcasing the depth and impact of her research. We’re incredibly proud of all she has accomplished.

Daniella Jimenez will be presenting her virtual poster titled "Clinically relevant FUS-BBBO increases the extent of the opening volume and microglial activation compared to pre-clinical parameters" at the Brain Barriers Conference hosted by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
