Biography
Sarah graduated from SEAS with a BS in Biomedical Engineering in 2025. She was working with Hannah Schleifer and the Cardiac team on a U-Net Deep Learning model for myocardial displacement estimation using both RF and B-Mode ultrasound imaging data. She also assisted with a cross-correlation based method for motion compensation of the heart muscle to work towards contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging of the coronary arteries. She matriculated into the MS/PhD Bioengineering program at UCSF-UC Berkeley in Fall 2025.
