Biography

Nirvedh Meshram completed his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2019. His Ph.D. work focused on strain indices that quantified carotid plaque instability using multiple regions of interest. He developed a fast GPU based carotid strain imaging algorithm. He also worked on implementing a semi-automatic plaque segmentation algorithm using convolution neural network. At UEIL, Nirvedh will work on projects related to pulse wave imaging in vascular applications.
