Biography
Moshe hails from Los Angeles, CA and received his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University in 2020. As an undergrad, Moshe studied the use of brain organoids as neural models for psychiatric diseases in the laboratory of Professor Kam Leong. Moshe is now part of the Columbia MD-PhD program and is co-mentored by Professor Elisa Konofagou and Professor Christine Denny. Using both labs’ expertise, he is excited to investigate focused ultrasound as a novel therapeutic tool for depression and anxiety. He loves basketball, comedy, and Trader Joe's.
