Biography

Min Gon Kim received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Kwangwoon University and University of Southern California in 2009 and 2012, respectively and his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Southern California under the supervision of Dr. K. Kirk Shung in 2017. His doctoral dissertation was centered on single-cell analysis with high frequency ultrasound. He is currently working on ultrasound neuromodulation as well as imaging aspects in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro. His research interests are investigations into cellular mechanisms by controlling cellular functions and structures from the single-cell to the whole-organism and the development of innovative translational techniques to answer biological questions for regenerative medicine.
