Biography
Masoome is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. Her educational background includes completing her undergraduate studies in Computer Engineering. Previously, she was actively engaged in research in Dr. Farhad R. Nezami's laboratory at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where she focused on utilizing Convolutional Neural Network tools for segmenting the Left Ventricle and Aortic Root. She is thrilled about the prospect of combining her expertise at the crossroads of computer science, engineering, and experimental biology. Her aspirations involve innovating new deep-learning approaches to facilitate the study of automatic Endocardial Wall Identification (EWI) at UEIL. Outside her academic pursuits, Masoome enjoys running, exploring new travel destinations, and embarking on hiking adventures.
