Biography
Maria Fernanda is originally from Bogota, Colombia and later moved to South Florida. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biopsychology from Tufts University. Prior to joining UEIL, she worked in a Translational Neural Engineering lab testing different neuromodulation technology and its effect on animal behavior in the Boston area. She was also actively involved in Brain Awareness Week, an academic outreach program for schools in the Boston.
