Biography
Jonas is a neurologist in training from Germany who received his approbation in 2020 and
finished his MD thesis in 2021 at the Technical University Dresden. He specializes in
movement disorders and his research in Dresden was focused on using digital systems to
treat and diagnose Parkinson’s Disease. He came to the lab with a Thiemann Fellowship in
May 2022 and is working on improving the delivery of therapeutics that target alpha-
Synuclein with focused ultrasound. He is further interested in exploring the possibilities of
ultrasound neuromodulation and functional ultrasound for movement disorders.
