Biography
Gillian graduated with general and departmental honors from Vassar College with a major in Neuroscience and Behavior and a correlate in Mathematics in 2023. At Vassar, she conducted research with Dr. Lori Newman to explore the role of astrocytes in attention, learning, and memory. After graduating from Vassar, Gillian worked as a Research Assistant at a clinic studying the pathology of multiple sclerosis. Currently, she is gaining more laboratory experience through joining UEIL before applying to PhD programs.
