Biography
Cosima Liang graduated from Duke University in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. Throughout her undergraduate career, she worked with Dr. Zhong where she studied stress field variations under shock wave lithotripsy and cavitation bubble dynamics under laser lithotripsy. Cosima joined UEIL as an MS/PhD candidate in the fall of 2021 and is focused on utilizing ultrasound imaging techniques to study the mechanical properties of arteries and their relations to vascular disease.
