Biography
Anurag Chatterjee graduated from the National University Of Singapore with a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering with a double major in Innovation and Design and specialization in the Internet Of Things. He interned for a year across various tech startups in Singapore pertaining to AI/ML research for construction safety, IoT for hospital fall detection, electronics design for piezoelectric sensors in mechanical vibration control and edTech. His full time experience spans across two years as a Mechatronics Engineer in Schlumberger for Digital Systems in oilfield applications.
His prior research experience in Columbia was in the Motor Drives And Power Electronics Lab in the Electrical Engineering department where he conducted research on convex optimization algorithms deployed on low power embedded platforms for DC microgrids and data centre applications. He joined UEIL as a masters student in the Cardiac group, where his research focuses on deep learning for cardiac arrhythmia prediction and classification.
