We’re excited to share that our lab’s work was recently featured by Spectrum News NY1 in a story highlighting a promising new approach for treating pediatric brain tumors. 

The segment showcased how focused ultrasound can temporarily open the blood-brain barrier and help deliver tumor-fighting drugs directly to the brain in under 30 minutes. Featuring the collaborative efforts of Dr. Elisa Konofagou and Dr. Stergios Zacharoulis, the story highlights the potential of this technology to open new doors for children facing devastating brain cancers such as diffuse midline glioma.
