Melina Tourni will present on Heart Rhythm Symposium and IEEE ISBI in May 2024

March 08, 2024

Exciting news from our lab! Melina Tourni is hitting the conference circuit this May with her PhD work, and we couldn't be prouder. First stop: the Heart Rhythm Symposium in Boston from May 16-19, where she'll share her latest on "Electromechanical Wave Imaging for Arrhythmogenic Mitral Valve Disease Characterization in the Clinic." It's cutting-edge stuff that's making waves in how we understand heart valve issues. Melina will then jet off to Athens, Greece, for the International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI) from May 27-30. There, she'll dive into her work on "Long-term Response Classification and Prediction of Atrial Fibrillation Ablation using Non-invasive 3D-rendered Electromechanical Cycle Length Mapping." It's a mouthful, but it's also a game-changer for predicting treatment outcomes for atrial fibrillation. We're excited to see the impact her research will have on the field and beyond. Go, Melina!
