Congratulations to Erica McCune on her successful PhD defense!

We’re excited to share that Erica successfully defended her PhD dissertation on May 11, 2026. Her dissertation was titled: Development and Clinical Translation of Focused Ultrasound Peripheral Neuromodulation for Chronic Pain Treatment.

We are very proud of Erica and all her incredible projects in her years at UEIL. You share so much joy with every member of the lab, and we are continuously learning so much from you every day.

Our celebration featured delicious noodles and multiple rounds of NY Times games!

Congratulations again, Erica, and we cannot wait to see all that you will accomplish in your next chapter!
